Sara B. Terry LPC is a Child, Family and Individual Therapist in private practice in Chestnut Hill. Sara has worked with children and families in the clinical and school setting for over 20 years. She received an MS in Counseling & Clinical Psychology with a specialization in child and adolescents from Chestnut Hill College and an MA in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University
Sara provides play therapy for children ages 3 to 12, supporting them in building self-esteem, developing confidence, enhancing social skills, processing trauma and stress, and reducing anxiety. Her work is rooted in a developmental perspective, and she collaborates closely with parents and caregivers to foster meaningful changes at home and to help them better understand their child’s emotional needs.
With adolescents and adults, Sara offers an individualized, supportive approach that encourages self-awareness, emotional growth, and healing at a pace that feels safe and empowering. She works collaboratively with clients to build coping skills and navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other personal challenges.
